SCHOOL CLOSURE CAMPS
We will be in session while schools are closed!
Although Covid-19 has halted many indoor activities, Hope Horse Ranch is currently offering outdoor horse camps. In accordance with the CDC recommendation, riders and instructors will respect the following; wearing a mask is optional, avoid indoor spaces and washing hands frequently. Hope Horse Ranch offers a Covid-19 safe environment for your rider, where safety, learning and physical activities are an option to indoor activities. We have many Horse Camps available to suit your needs. Contact us for camps dates and pricing. For families and friends that have quarantined together, we have great group rates! We are always in session when school is not!
Due to the safety of riding, riders and instructors will not wear masks while mounted or riding while in the saddle in an outdoor environment.
Additionally, at this time, according to Ohio State University, School of Veterinary Medicine: "Humans are not at risk for passing COVID-19 to their horses or livestock and there is no reason to believe animals can transmit the disease to humans." Our program incorporates therapeutic human horse interaction and non-riding activities, we provide an option from mainstream sports and provide training that encourages self-awareness, respect for self and others, horses specifically and animals generally. Carefully supervised non-riding activities and horseback training encourages emotional normalization, muscle tone, balance, coordination and development of speech, body awareness and self-esteem.
